In March 2023, at the GSCA Filmmaker Symposium in Los Angeles, Alan Markowitz and Marios Kourasis from Visceral Image Productions, and Rick Gordon from RPG Productions, presented a behind-the-scenes look at how they produced a two-minute visual effects sequence depicting two million years of Grand Canyon geologic history.
